Twelfth Night (setting)

A romantic production of "TWELFTH NIGHT" at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in Scotland. Director Joan Knight proposed setting the play in a small Mediterranean town at the beginning of the nineteenth century - the characters probably on "The Grand Tour". The set was designed in a carefully calculated false perspective: the buildings seen beneath the bridge at the back were actually three dimensional models, only about 75cms high. In the centre is a practical fountain.
