A studio production of "OEDIPUS REX" at Theatr Clwyd in North Wales. Directed by George Roman.

The main acting area was a platform of expanded metal sheeting suspended from scaffolding poles. Beneath this, the centre section of the floor was removed and sub-levels constructed beneath. Materials were (real) flag-stones, scaffolding, chains and metal, creating a sense of discomfort and possible danger. Audience seating was on three sides.
