Set and costumes for Shakespeare's "RICHARD II" at the Redgrave Theatre, Farnham: The king's throne set on a very high level meant that his eventual descent from power was a literal one. The contrast between the formal contest of the joust (shown here) and the 'real' war of the later battle scenes was emphasised by the staging and costumes. The director was Graham Watkins.
