"The production opens in complete darkness. ... Slowly dawn comes as the residents awake. A small hole appears ... at the back and it gets bigger and bigger as the day progresses until an expansive, cloud-dappled Welsh sky dominates the stage. Later, as night approaches, the window to the sky closes slowly until again the set is black. Inspired."
